Dr. Esmeralda Diaz Marcantel
Dr. Esmeralda Diaz Marcantel is thrilled to return home to Texas and serve patients in the Austin. Her journey in dentistry is unique; before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, she spent over a decade gaining invaluable perspective within the dental field—first as a certified dental assistant and later as a registered dental hygienist.
In her spare time
Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Marcantel combines state-of-the-art dental technology with a gentle touch. Outside the office, she loves giving back through community initiatives like Give Kids a Smile and cherishes spending time with her family, including her husband (who is also a dentist!) and their loved ones back home in Texas.
Her commitment to dentistry
Dr. Marcantel recently returned from Florida, where she practiced in a high-volume, advanced clinical setting. This intensive experience served as an invaluable residency, sharpening her expertise in complex cases, surgical extractions, implant placement, and orthodontics. Passionate about lifelong learning, she has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in orthodontics, implantology, and sleep apnea care.
